The facilities are good. There are loads of computers available but as with anywhere there are busy times when it is hard to get on them. The library is excellent with plenty of silent study space in a well lit room with comfy chairs and large desks (with powerpoints for your laptop). I had fantastic experience being a postgrad at City University. It is about 1/3 undergrads, 1/3 nurses (mostly off campus) and 1/3 postgrads. This lends itself to being a more study-oriented university than where I was an undergraduate. The reputation of the department of Mathematics, Actuarial Science and Statistics is well deserved - the lecturers and other staff were helpful and always had an open-door policy.
