I completed the Teaching Assistants level 3 course in October and passed with a Distinction. I really enjoyed the course and the materials were excellent. Feedback from the tutor was very encouraging and informative throughout. Helping me to complete the final.
I am already employed as a TA but the course has enabled me to really put what i have learnt into practice. Building my confidence in supporting the children.
I enjoyed the course so much i am now doing the Special Educational Needs Level 3 and the CACHE Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools. I am enjoying both and am learning alot more on how to support and ensure inclusion.
The teaching and learning in schools is along the same lines as the level 3 teaching assistant course. But is on the QCF therefore has a qualification number unlike the TA level 3. Which is measurable to the learning outcomes of the QCF Qualification. I felt this may not be recognised in all schools, although the one i work at does. Therefore decided to do both.
The Special Educational Needs course materials are not the same as the TA Diploma it is based on self study. So alot of reading from differenct resources and websites. To complete the course.
I especially like the way i can pay monthly for my courses, so good if you are on a budget. Uploading assignments is easy online and marking is very quick. Results only take a couple of days. Although
some of mine were marked on the same day. So Excellent!
I really enjoyed studying with Stonebridge Distance Learning. The study material was easy to read and understand, the tutors were encouraging and helpful and for this 50/51year old who has not done any studying for too many years it was a great experience and I am longing to do another course. Thankyou Stonebridge.
The whole experience has been fantastic. I enjoyed the course very much and I found it very complete. The cost of the course was not that expensive compared to many other courses by other colleges and sites. The best thing was that I was able to study at my own pace, this is something I found very useful as I was studying other university courses at the same time that were very demanding. The feedback from my tutor was always excellent. There was always useful comments on how to make my assignments a bit better.By doing this course I have transformed a hobby I enjoyed very much into a profession and I am looking forward to setting up my own business.
I am currently studying my Teaching Assistant Level 3 Diploma course, the college has extremely helpful tutors who you can contact when ever needed and I also liked that I could pay for my course in instalments. When I have finished my course I will be enrolling on more courses that will further my education within the childcare field. I would recommend stonebridge college at anybody. Another great factor is that you can do the course in your own time as there are no time restrictions so take as long as you want to finish. A******* college. I would recommend that you look at the reading list and buy some of the books recommended to you for extra information.
Ive just passed my teaching assistant diploma level 3 and found the course interesting and really enjoyed. The tutors were really helpful and I'm just about to start my SEN course. They are a fantastic college and worth going with for a course.
I have recently won the Psychology - Advanced course on a Stonebridge Colleges UK competition through the Student Community on Facebook. I'm doing a Holistic course (Japanese Holistic Healing Practitioner course) and I feel "Psychology-Advanced" is a great addition to my actual learning (and it is one of my favourite subjects!). The course has 28 modules (it's a bit long, a little bit challenging, and that's why you get the Level 4 Diploma and NCFE award!!), with different psychology fields (Social, Cognitive... including child development. I just started reading my first module and already feel excited! The course is flexible, which helps studying both courses at the same time, no stress or pressure! I highly recommend Stonebridge Colleges to anyone looking for user-friendly and easy to learn courses! Can't wait to get my first assignment done to move to the next chapters.
I have recently passed my Teaching Assistant Level 3 course and it has been very enjoyable. I did my course online and I have to say the forums are brilliant and very informative. The tutors were great and gave helpful feedback. Anyone deciding to use Stonebridge I can proudly say they are an excellent choice.
The Business Management Diploma course from Stonebridge Associated colleges provided by eLearn UK has given me a thorough understanding of how businesses work. The course covers all the keys aspects of a business from Management and Leadership, Human Resources all the way to Business Strategies. Here's what I made of the course:
* The course is very flexible - you study at your convenience.
* The course material is very clear and straight forward.
* The instructors are very encouraging and take their time to give explanations when contacted and while grading assignments.
* Assignments are graded within 24 - 32 hours and results are promptly posted on the grading page.
* There are some Case Studies in the course materials. I found these to be very informative and helpful.
I have gained a deeper knowledge of how to manage a business / organisation and strongly recommend the course to anyone who is interested in furthering their career in business management.
This is the second course I've enrolled with Stonebridge and both experiences were wonderful. The modules are well outlined and easy to comprehend. The support staff are always there to assist you and they are very considerate and understanding. The Tutor's comments on your grades are inspiring and motivational. What's more, they've informed me that they have reviewed my performance throughout my course and in line with NCFE regulations, they have awarded my overall result for the course a "Distinction".
They certainly appreciate and value the hardwork their students put in their course and for me there's nothing better than being appreciated for all my efforts. I highly recommend Stonebridge to anyone who wishes to enrol for online studies.
Not only that, Stonebdridge' Diplomas / Certificates are recognized not just in the UK but in other countries too. This helps a lot for those who are residing outside the UK.
I cannot stress to highly just how good the Foot Health Practitioner Level 4 course is. The theory modules are well set out for providing you with the knowledge you need. I was inspired to research the subjects in greater depth. My tutor was supportive and encouraging in her comments on work submitted. This inspired me to push myself and I was delighted to find my efforts were rewarded in the grade I achieved. The practical part of the course was a "Tour de Force" performed by Mr Bernard Pink. His enthusiasm for the subject and patient encouragement is wonderful. He gives you the confidence that everything is achievable. For me this has been a life changing experience.I cannot recommend this course any more highly.
I have started this course last month, and I'm already at my assignment 12. It says it all! I'm enjoying the course so much and feel excited reading my material and working on my tests! This is a 36-module course, covering so many areas in Holistic Healing, massage (Shiatsu, Anma), Colour Therapy, Crystal Therapy, Anatomy and Physiology, Parapsychology, CBT, Inner Child Healing, Life Coaching, and other fields. It might look long, but for someone who wants to focus on a Holistic career and who is interested in Japanese culture and healing methods, it's perfect! Of course, you'll need to support your learning with different books and/or videos, like Anatomy and Physiology for Dummies/for Therapists, the Complete Illustrated Guide - Shiatsu: The Japanese Healing Art, The Power of Chakras and Chakra Healing... There are some amazing videos on Youtube about Shiatsu, massage, as well as DVDs to buy on Amazon or other sites. I feel that the course should have included a module just about Reiki, especially that this energy healing is mentioned a lot throughout the course. But since you'd need to take workshops in the future to practice and gain experience, you'll find it easy to join a Reiki class and even become a Reiki Master (there are more and more workshops on Reiki nowadays!). I've got many books now, including for Reiki and meditation, which helps in grounding and relaxation. I'm quite happy with this course, and would highly recommend it.
I have just completed a course on Drugs, Solvent and Alcohol Abuse Counselling. I currently work in this field for a charity and the only training I have had is through their in service training department. I learnt a lot more with working with the client group. Even though I work in this field, it didn't make the assignments easy, I had to really think and was stretched by each one. The details and content given were relevant and up to date and I learnt a lot through their factual information. My only negative comment would be that the course is not accredited by all authorities in the UK but it is definately good enough to be. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to others who work in this field.
The Workplace Psychology Level 3 course with Stonebridge Associated Colleges is one of the most useful courses one can embark on. I enjoyed this course and found it very stimulating, challenging, and satisfying. The Stonebridge Colleges experience far exceeded my expectations. In deciding to pursue a course in Psychology that could educate me on the different behaviours in the workplace, I researched the various options available and confidently selected the Stonebridge program because of its flexibility, reputation, and recognition. The quality of the teaching materials was first-class, as they were well written and effectively communicated the complex concepts.I highly recommend the Stonebridge Colleges Workplace Psychology program for any experienced professional seeking to further equip themselves for the challenges of today's dynamic and competitive world. It truly provides a competitive advantage.Deneil Christian
Not only is the college itself efficient, well run and helpful in every way their courses are really in depth, current and useful. I studied the Level 3 diploma in child care and education and I have really enjoyed it. Marking is quick and easy, sent back within a day, tutor is helpful and friendly and it is a very efficient, well run service. It is so cost effective for a childcare related course and really useful in everyday practice.
I studied in an HND in children's care learning and development in a local established campus based college and I confess I dropped out in 5 months- not because of the work but because the course was no good for me. The college was inefficient and I didn't seem to be learning anything- I just had no motivation.
Studying with Stonebridge has actually been so good, I was apprehensive about distance learning, thinking I would need classroom based teaching to learn anything and to have an ounce of motivation. Yet I enrolled anyway- I am so glad I did, honestly this is one of the best courses I have done. I would recommend it to anyone, my experience of Stonebridge has definitely been a positive one. I am also about to start another course with the college very soon before I start university part time in October.
If you are reading this and want to do a part time course in practically anything! Stonebridge can help! Just check out all the fabulous ranges of subjects on offer. I really would recommend this to anyone.
Stonebridge College Security Management® Program is undoubtedly world-class security management course available for security and non-securtyprofessionals. The course content is practical and has helped me already to deliver measurable results. I would highly recommend the Security Management® Certification for security and non-security professionals who would like a rewarding career and want to pursue the highest recognition in the field of security management. I am far more prepared now for new, higher security challenges than before.
