      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      You really do get what you pay for.

      It is always a mistake buying cheap suitcases as they do not last very long and these are an example of this. We bought the cases a few years ago and they are still in usable condition but they look shabby and one has a broken handle. The cases were bought for £39.99 which is cheap, considering the set comprises of two cases, one 3KG and one 4KG but they look cheap and are generally quite poor quality.

      ==Description==

      The two cases measure the following: 29"x18"x11" (4kg) and 25"x16"x10" (3kg.) They are both exactly the same in design. They are made from really thick polyester with a strong webbed handle attached to the top. You can pick them up in a number of colours; mine are orange and black as they stand out slightly more at the airport. There is a large pull out metal handle to assist you in pulling the trolley case and this operates with a button on the handle. One of the handles will only go down half way now and I'm not exactly sure what happened to it, but as it went behind the scenes at the airport a roughty toughty baggage handler must have been a bit too rough with it. The metal handle is quite wobbly though and I image it did not take too much ill treating for it to give in. The cases have two wheels at the front so you do not need to carry them but you can pull them along, making it a much more comfortable way to travel. The case seals up with a zip and double seals with a padlock. The zip also lets the bags down as it plays up and sticks at certain points. It could be a little bit more robust in design. Inside the cases are lined with a thin material that does not do much to protect the clothes and is quite frayed now. There is also an internal pocket to store dirty laundry in and other odd bits and pieces.

      ==My experiences==

      You really do get what you pay for here and if you want a cheap case for a couple of trips then this last that long. If you are looking for a case to last you a long time and invest in then you need to buy something else. The other feel of the cases are shabby and poor, the stitching is coming loose and zips are very temperamental. I would probably give the cases a few more trips before I bin them but if I see another case in the meantime that is a good price for a branded product then I would not think twice about replacing them.
      The quality of the metal handles are poor, they feel like they will snap off and now that one has stuck, it is quite a frustration dragging it with a small handle. The saving grace is the wheels; on the whole they seem quite good! The cases have been dragged over rough ground, up steps, across grass and gravel and still
      seem to roll well.

      The cases protect my clothes as well as any other suitcase, they do not allow anything to rip or tear them and once the case is zipped up and locked and despite being quite cheaply constructed the polyester is thick and offers quite a lot of protection.

      Overall, I did not expect much more from these cases so I am not surprised to find they have not lasted very long. They are cheaply constructed cases for a cheap price.
