Dunlop Trolley Case
Advantages: Small and compact and great for short breaks.
Disadvantages: None for me.
A few years ago me and my other half had booked a holiday to Washington DC, it wasn't a long one, just four days, so we didn't want to take a huge suitcase with us. I popped into my local Sports Direct store and saw that they had the 16 inch Dunlop trolley case on sale for about £10, so I grabbed myself a couple. Yes I know this wouldn't be my normal place to go suitcase shopping, but there you are.
They are black in colour with gray trim, they did have them with blue and red trim as well, have two sturdy wheels on the end, a retractable handle for when you want to pull it along and two further handles so that you can carry it like a normal suitcase. It has an outside zip fastening pocket on the front, which will easily hold a paperback book or your travel documents and a slim zip fastening pocket on the back for things like your passport. When you open the case there is another zip fastening mesh pocket which runs the length of the lid, as it were, where you can put your toiletries, and the remainder of the case is where you put your clothes which are held in place with two elasticated clip fastening straps. The case does expand slightly to make it approximately 6 inches wide as apposed to 5 inches unexpanded.
This case easily fits the catagory of hand luggage which is great as it means that you don't have to worry about your luggage being lost when you get to the other end of your journey.
I found that I had ample room for all the clothes I wanted to take, which was approximately one jumper a pair of jeans, seven or eight t-shirts and various underware and socks. I didn't even have to use it expanded either. I made sure that all my liquid bottles were of the correct size for hand luggage and I boarded the plane.
At the other end, we didn't have to wait for our luggage to be unloaded and then put on the carousel, we simple walked straight through to customs and were out of the airport before most people had even retrieved their luggage.
If you're going on a short break, then this sturdy little case is ideal.
Summary: Great value case, which hold more than you think.
