Advantages: Cheap and functional
Disadvantages: Could do with longer handles and integrated locks
We bought this as a sort of back up suitcase for when we were going away for the first time as a family of three as there was lots of extra baby stuff we needed to take and at £24.99 it was very resonably priced and would not be carrying anything that could break or that had very much value, in fact it was mostly nappies, clothes and bibs to be honest. It is a fabric case so has some flexibility to it but is not as sturdy as a rigid case. Also it is black in colour so needs some sort of decoration on it to distinguish it on the luggage carosel.
It is very much a basic sort of suitcase, there is no integrated locking system, rather there is the option to add a small padlock to the two zips so not the greatest security but for what we wanted it for it did the job. The zips are nice and sturdy. The one big disadvantage with this case is that the handle does not extend out very far, not a problem for small little me but not ideal for my other half who did not really find it that comfortable to pull as he was stooping a bit so I tended to take control of this case when we did not have a trolley to use.
It is a simple design inside with one large compartment in which to store your belongings, there are only two wheels on the base and these are plastic, they are reasonably robust however with only two then there is only one position in which you can pull this case. There are two plastic bits as well on the opposite corners to allow it to stand up right and it is reasonably stable.
This is certainly a functional basic suitcase which is fine for a one week trip for one person or as part of a wider range of luggage for more people, it is light weight so does not use up a lot of your luggage allowance unlike some more expensive cases however it does have its limitations. Overall I guess you get what you pay for.
Summary: Cheap and cheerful
