Advantages: fun, sit on

Disadvantages: none

The trunki suitcase is just like any other suitcase really but it is designed so that your young child can ride on it while you pull them along.

The is a seat on the top of the suit case made of a strong plastic so that it can support your child's weight. The seat seems comfortable enough, while it doesn't have a cushion like base to sit on, the plastic it shaped well so that its easy to sit on, and I don't think it was meant to be a long term seating solution as at the airport you only keep your suitcase for a short while until you book in your luggage. Also its great to have a seat while waiting in the long queues you get in airports, so there is no moaning of tired legs.
There is a pull out handle so that you can pull the child along, the hand it long enough so that you're not bending down to pull it and not so long your child drags miles behind you. However, depending on how tall your child is they may be able to push themselves along with their feat, which is great as they look after their own stuff while having fun, so they aren't complaining about having to pull their own suitcase. I think an average child of 3 or 4 will be too small to push themselves, but from a bout 5 or 6 years they might be tall enough. My child is 6 and can push himself along, and wants to look after his suitcase, rather than me trying to persuade him to take it, which is great.

For the size of the suit case they is a lot of storage space, of 18 litres according to the description, and it enough for the average child, and I manage to fit a few extra. bits in as well. The wheels take up quite a bit of inside space, but its worth the sacrifice I think.
Also it is hand luggage size so you can keep it with after going through the security and take it on the plain with you.

The case is a strong plastic and not a fabric so your contents should be safe from damage and the case hasn't cracked while I've had it. It also has a key lock, rather than a coded lock with I prefer as I think it's easier to forget a code than it is to lose a key.

Overall this is a great product and a lot of fun for kids, making life easier for the adults
