Trunki Toy Box Travel Case
Advantages: Has many uses!
After Christmas we were left with so many toys that needed a home. As my daughter is 10 months her toys are either large so go in the corner of her playroom or small things like Megablocks. I didn't want a wooden toybox as I was worried when she was older she would catch her fingers and normal plastic storage boxes looked boring. Browsing on Amazon I came across these toyboxes for £14, I ordered two a blue one and a pink one.
When the box arrived it was a little smaller than I expected it measures 40cm x 30cm x 30cm. The boxes are made of really strong plastic. The pink one is a really vibrant pink with a purple lid and bright green wheels and handles. The blue box is a bright blue with a bright green lid and orange handles and wheels.
The box comes with a piece of cardboard wrapped around it which describes it as 'world's first ride-on, push-around, travelling toy box allows you to take toys and games with you wherever you go'
The first thing I did was take the lid off to fill it with toys, my daughter is still only small but she likes to put things in the box herself and she also enjoys pulling them back out! The box is shaped so that your toddler can ride on it, this means that the bottom is wider than the top. The top of the box also has 'grooves' which accomodate your childs legs making it easy for them to push themselves along. I managed to fill the box with a lot of toys, it is like a Tardis it holds a lot more than it looks like it would. Once the box is full you simply clip on the lid which is really easy to do the lid of the box has a handle which makes it easy for mum or dad to move it around the house or take it travelling with you. You can also turn the toybox around so the wheels are on the floor, when it is facing this way your shild can sit on the box and ride along, or you can simply pull the handle on the box to move it along the floor.
The fun thing about these boxes is that they can be clipped together to form a train, this can be done while the box is shut or open as the box is designed to stand on the lid and be pulled along as well as being used closed. The boxes can also be stored on top of each other as they are designed to fit together. The box can also be used as a rocker by placing the box on the lid, which needs to be facing wheels up, your child can then put their doll or teddy in there and rock them to sleep.
This toybox is great value for the money it will grow with your child and is a versitile as their imagination. My daughter does sit on the box to ride it if I push her but she is too small to push herself along but I know she will grow into it. The box is also designed to be ideal for travelling, it fits perfectly in the footwell of your car. When I take my daughter to her nans she loves to take toys with her.
I would highly recommend this box, it is fun and also practical, 5 out of 5 from us!
Summary: A great value storage box for all your little ones toys!
