On my recent holiday to Turkey, after sun was a must have and I chose Garnier as one of our selections from a trusted well known brand, and also because of the offer price at the time. I personally think this product is quite highly priced in most stores. It can be found for ; £7.99 from Boots and £7.80 from feelunique.com. This is also widely available in most stores and I picked mine up from Sainsburys better than half priced at £3! Ok I only went in for some change but I this was well worth the buy and I don't think we could have got through our holiday without it! £8 for an after sun lotion is rather high considering there are ... I have a pale complexion and tend to burn in the sun quite easily. I therefore have to make sure I always have some after sun lotion at hand. I tend to buy whatever is on offer but usually stick to brand name products I know will be good quality. That is why I bought this Garnier Ambre Solaire After Sun lotion. It comes in a 200ml sized turquoise plastic bottle. It is fitted with a flip style hinged lid which has a large lip and a compression underneath so that you fingertip can slide in and flick it open. Although it feels very secure when closed I would recommend taping up the top if you intend to put this in a suitcase. The labels on the bottle ... Read the complete review

Occasionally when we get sun I do like to take in a few rays. I do use sun cream/oil usually as I'm very fair skinned indeed however I'm not always as careful as I should be and don't bother slapping the stuff on if I'm only nipping over the shop or something quickly and thats usually when I get burnt! The sad thing about it though is I never tan and go a lovely golden brown colour I always go beetroot and crispy looking lol! For the reason that I kept getting burnt I decided to purchase this a couple of weeks ago for the somewhat princely sum of £5.50 (in all good chemists, supermarkets etc). I love the Ambre Solaire suntan oil and buy that regularly and ... Read the complete review

A couple of weekends ago a heatwave hit Britain and we reached over 30 degrees here in the north west. I was out in the garden for 3 days straight, and after that I was so sunburnt I could not go out. However I did need to go driving somewhere so I put my roof down and burnt myself all over again as I had to drive around for hours. My skin was bright red, tight and very very sore, so I searched my cupboards from top to bottom and found the ambre solaire aftersun. The family sized pack of 400ml is coloured light blue, a nice and soothing colour. The smell was really nice and reminds me of sun cream, which obviously reminds me of the sunny times I have in ... Once upon a time, in a land not far away, the sun shone of a place called Great Britain. Everyone soaked up the rays and became transfixed with the sport of tennis for two weeks due to something going on a SW19. Nowadays however, this is a time of legends as since then the weather, has simply, been lousy. For those who remember the sun, or have been fortunate enough to go on holiday recently, this little product may be just the ticket for you. Ambre Solaire's After Sun is the product, which helps soothe the skin after a nasty bout of sunburn, which us Brits are excellent at obtaining. The 200ml bottle comes in a light turquoise-blue plastic container, slightly ... Read the complete review
