I came back from a holiday in Lanzarote last year a Bronzed Goddess! Actually I was just bronzed, as, at just 5ft nothing, I certainly could never be described as a 'Goddess'! Of course, as we all know, those beautiful sun kissed (or for those more sensible ones......sun damaged) looks do tend to fade rather quickly once we get back to the good old British weather that we all love...Hee Hee. This time, however I was determined to make it last !! Hence I decided to try Ambre Solaire after Sun Tan Maintainer.(Now known as Garnier Ambre Solaire) I purchased my 150ml tube from Sainsbury's, it was on a special offer at just 5.99 GBP. (normally retails at between ... Read the complete review

i've been using fake tan for years now, being the kind of girl who would look pallid after two years in the gobi desert, so i feel i'min a position to comment on this one. after years of trying the cheapest and most expensive on the market, i can honestly say this is the best there is. the tan maintainer means that this product is half moisturiser (or after sun) and half fake tan, guaranteeing you a really natural colour, and if you have been nin the real rays atall, a silky soft rosy glow too. smells like lovely expensive moisturiser rather than mouldy tea skin dye, and is cheap as chips. i am never without a bottle and have even been known to got o gatwick ... Ambre Solaire - After Sun Tan Maintainer This is definitely on my shopping list after every holiday! Not only is it a really effective after sun, it contains a small amount of self-tanning agent to keep that newly back from your holiday look! Unlike lots of fully grown fake tans it's non streaky and doesn't turn your skin the colour of a tangerine! I think at seven pound odds it is a tad expensive to use on holiday but it's certainly worth the investment when you return. The only drawbacks are; it's in a plastic tube which is virtually impossible to use up the last drops without cutting the tube and after applying you have to leave it to soak in ... I first tired out this product when I went on holiday a few months ago. I spent an entire afternoon browsing Boots and Superdrug, looking for the perfect sun protection lotion and after sun to take on holiday with me. I didn't want my after sun to be oily or greasy feeling in any way and I wanted something to help me maintain my tan for as long as possible, knowing that when I came back after 7 days of sun, I most likely wouldn't have the chance to top up in rainy England. There was an offer on at Boots for buy one get one free sun lotion and after sun. What a perfect offer I thought, but there were so many different brands to chose from! ... Read the complete review

I purchased this originally because it was on offer at superdrug for £3.49, which is half price and had read about products like this in magazines, which help you keep that healthy suntanned glow. I started using this product after my first days sunbathing and found it made my skin sooo smooth unfortunately I had applied a little too much because the next day I was a little streaky around the bottom of my feet and now realise that you should treat it as a fake tan and should apply with care (and wash your hands afterwards!) But now I apply it correctly I found that it really works I know I?m not really this brown but people at work don?t and that is all due to this ... Read the complete review
