      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Good price for a sun lotion.

Recently some good weather has been around, but it will not last for much longer and it usually does show itself when the school holidays are coming to an end, it has always been the way, and so I did not want to buy an expensive sun cream, since it would not have much use, and I read a review about this one from Asda Smart Price range and thought I would give it a try for myself to see how I liked it.

It comes in a very basic white plastic bottle, it has a flip lid and a nozzle that has a tiny hole for the lotion to easily pour from, it is a very soft textured cream, it is very light and once applied onto the skin, it soaks in very quickly, it was priced at only £1 for a 200ml bottle, which is very cheap for a lotion.

It is factor 15 and so it is not designed for the very hot weather or if you are very fair skinned, but I have quite a dark skin and so this one is absolutely fine for me, my wife is very fair skinned and she tried it but it did not give her the same protection as it did not suit her skin but it did mine.

The bottle is a nice slim one and easy to hold and it squeezes nicely from the bottle too, which is good as some tend to need a lot of pressure but this one is fine.

It smoothes over the skin and does not leave the skin sticky and it dries in no time at all, it does leave the skin soft and smooth, and it moisturises it and when it is rubbed into the skin it does not leave streaks as it glides over the skin and lays on it and then soaks in within a couple of minutes.

It is recommended to apply it approximately 15 minutes before going into the sun and then again, 15 minutes when you go out into the sun, to give you the protection you need, it is then applied just 1 to 2 hours while in the sun to top it up to keep the protection and especially after perspiring or going into water or if you have used a towel etc.

I have only used the contents of the bottle twice but depending on how much is applied and where etc, it can last up to 6 applications.

It is a good quality lotion for a cheap price and it worked for my skin and I recommend it for others to try, especially if on a low budget as it is a nice product and worth the £1 spent.

      I rate it 5 stars.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

Good value and quality for money.

I bought this sun lotion from the Asda Smart Price lower range of products, I bought the lower factor by mistake and then decided to use it and see how it worked and it only cost me £1 for 200ml and for the price I thought it would not work at all and especially being the lower priced one too and the very low factor.

It comes in a very basic white plastic bottle with a flip lid and lotion is easily squeezed from a tiny opening on the flip lid and the lotion inside is a white liquid, which has a very soft texture and it easily rubs into the skin and it absorbs very quickly and I found it to be a very good quality indeed.

It has a slight fragrance to it and it feels non greasy too, which is what I prefer and in my opinion it smells a little like baby lotion and smells very fresh and it also leaves the skin feeling nice and soft too and the softness lasts for a very long time and the fragrance on the skin too.

It is a factor 15, which is a medium one and I applied it 15 minutes approximately before I went out in the garden when I first used it and applied another application again 15 minutes when I went outdoors, and then I just topped up after a couple of hours and it worked a treat for my very fair skin.

It is recommended to top up every couple of hours or after swimming or towel drying and I did that and my skin kept nice and safe from the sun and it did not burn me at all, I used this bottle for approximately a dozen times and it was a very good quality for the very low price I paid for it and I did not even think it would work and since I am on a lower budget at the moment I was not at all disappointed with the results.

It recommends to use it liberally over the skin, which I did and it left my skin feeling nice and soft to the touch and it had a nice moisturising effect on the skin and I applied it to my face too as well as my body and my face felt just as soft and it work in that area also.

If you are looking for a lower factor of sun lotion I do not think you would be disappointed with this one but I usually buy the higher factors but since I picked up this one by mistake it worked a treat for me.

The bottle can be recycled too and it is a slim bottle and it is not bulky and so it can easily be placed into a beach bag or hand bag for when you need to use it.

I give it 5 stars and it is extremely good quality and excellent value for money too.

Thank you for reading my review.
