Ok so it would be fair to say that we are a family of English Roses! My husband, myself and my two sons are all whiter than eskimos. So subsequently we have very sensitive skin - we burn very easily and also suffer quite badly with heat rash.
when I was a child I would spend long periods of my summer holiday indoors with various different potions on my skin trying to reduce the itching that is the key factor of heat rash. So when my sons showed signs of also getting the dreaded heat rash I wanted to find something to prevent it.
The main cause I find is of the oily greasy cloggy sun tan creams that block pores, which is why the banana boat powder dri appealed to me. It literally dries to a powder finish. No stickiness, no grease! Its great.
It has a wonderful smell too unlike some, it is quite tropical.
Many people will say that children should wear at least a 50 SPF however I was also told that after 30 there really isn;t a great deal of difference. So I stuck with this one. We tried it in the UK first on the HOT days (what few we had!)
Then when we went on holiday to Turkey we took it with us and I can honestly say that neither of the boys got any symptoms of the dreaded heat rash. I ensured that I applied it every few hours to be safe, it says it is water resistant but I wasn;t willing to take the risk.
The price isn;t too bad in relation to other sun lotions on the market. I bought it from Tesco for £8.99, they had a buy one get one free offer on it. I have also seen it in matalan and boots too.
