Boots Botanics Purifying Body Souffle

I always like to have plenty of different body lotions and because I have no loyalty to any brand, am willing to try out most products.

This one appealed to me as it comes packaged in a large tub with information and instructions on the back and a silver screwon off lid. I do tend to like tubs of cream because it always means that I can get right down to the bottom and so there is no waste.

The soufflé promise to contain a purifying formula to pamper your entire body for softer, creamier looking skin It contains botanical elements including horse chestnut, which is good to help improve circulation and eliminate toxins.

When I unscrew the lid the soufflé is white and when I put my finger into the product it does feel lightly whipped and not at all thick like some body creams. That said, it isn't runny so no chance of it dripping onto the floor when on my fingers. There is a quite distinctive smell which isn't floral but which I don't recognise. Its not unpleasant and I can assume only that it is the horse chestnut extract since this is the only ingredient which is mentioned.

To use the product should be massaged into the skin using circular motions. I find that it is easily absorbed into the skin and isn't greasy but doesn't seem as moisturising as some body creams, perhaps because its not as thick. However, this initial thought proves ill founded because after using it for several weeks, my skin is left feeling soft and moisturised.

The product costs about £10 for 450ml and is available instore at Boots and also online, at www.boots.com.

~~Verdict...~~

The product has made a nice change from my usual creams and I imagine it would be very nice to use when on holiday as skin feels very cool and refreshed after use, although it may not be moisturising enough for very dry skin.

The product has lasted me a couple of months now and I am coming to the end of it, so its not bad value for money.

I will buy this again if on offer but it wont take place as my favourite moisturiser and I certainly haven't noticed any improvement in my circulation.

Thanks for reading
