Dove Summer Glow Body Lotion

Well, I have to write a review on this. Firstly because it is a GREAT product, secondly because I got it for an absolute BARGAIN and I have to make people aware of this steal!

The product comes in a few shades:
- Normal to Dark Skin
- Fair To Medium Skin
- Dark Skin
- Shimmer

I have rather olive skin so I went for the normal to dark skin, it seems to be working really well. As stated in my garnier summer body review tinted moisturizers are great for 'faketanaphobes' who are unsure about wapping on a deep brown substance into their skin! This product just go's onto your skin as though it is your usual moisturizer, the only difference is that it gives you a gradual tan! Some people would put this on daily however if you are wanting a more natural look maybe try it every miss a day!
Since it's getting to that time of the year were all starting to bare all and get our pins out and the fact that I am a tanorexic I have been trying every tan out there at the moment!! I have had some VERY bad experiences and some rather good ones, the only problem I find personally is that on a weekend I like to be nice and dark but then since the weather is heating up I am going to have to ditch the tights for work so I really need something that is going to be a little more toned down and streak free! I think this is the product, I love the fact that you can keep topping it up and it gradually builds up.

How to apply:

You would apply this in the same way as a regular moisturizing Lotion. It is a little thicker than the garnier lotion however it feels nice and creamy so much more moisturizing! I guess depending on how often you used the product would determine how fast it runs out, I doubt very much that my bottle will last long as it never does! A little seems to go a long way with it though as it spreads really well. The moisturizer builds up a gradual glowing tan and leaves skin silky smooth. The lotion is enriched with a hint of self tan but it doesn't smell too bad and is very easy to mask unlike some others that leave that lingering smell! Do remember to wash your hands after use though or you will get those lovely orange marks between your fingers and make sure you apply it evenly as I am sure it could still leave you nice and streaky if you apply it wrong. Another vital tip when tanning is to exfoliate, preferably the night before to get rid of any dead skin - pay special attention to knees, elbows and ankles.

You can usually buy this lotion from Boots for £5.10 HOWEVER, at the moment they have a deal on and it is only TWO POUNDS AND FIFTY FIVE PENNIES!! That's right only £2.55, I was amazed! Of course I had to buy two bottles!!! At the new price you would collect 8 points on your advantage card. I did notice that it is £2.50 from Superdrug too so a whole 5p cheaper!

I absolutely love this product, if you cringe at the thought of looking like someone from TOWIE (the only way is Essex) but you don't want to get out your pasty pins then this is the product for you. Much better for daily wear and moisturizing I can't pick any faults! I would recommend this product 100% especially for any casual BBQ's or anything you have lined up for the summer! I would actually rate this higher than the Garnier product, any questions ask away!!
