      Some might like it

      I always associated sun protection oil with low factors and people who are lucky enough to go really tanned on holiday! I have to have at least a factor eight and usually find that factor 15 needs to be used for most of the holiday. When I saw this oil, I quite fancied giving it a go, the reason being is that I also get quite dry skin and I thought a nice oil would give me a goddess inspired sheen, deeply moisturise my skin and protect me at the same time! It did at the beginning but then I got a rash.

      ==Price and availability==

      I paid £7.99 for a bottle of this which is not bad but nothing special. You can buy it from supermarkets and chemists such as Boots. It is stocked amongst the sun protection products.

      This comes in a brown bottle which is see though so you can see the oil inside with a spray nozzle at the top. It needs a good few pumps to dispense enough oil but once it does, the oil feels smooth but a little bit greasy. The packaging describes is as "satin-touch" but it is just in fact oily. I was expecting this to some extent, I wanted an oil that would stay around longer and keep my skin hydrated throughout the day.

      The oil has a pleasant smell to it and it is enriched with shea butter to give the skin extra moisture.

      ==My experiences==

      I was a little unsure of this at first as oil is new to me but I got used to the greasy feeling and I liked it, it really did make my skin feel conditioned. The bad thing was that half way through the holiday, my skin started to feel really hot and I got prickly heat all over my legs. This stuff just blocked my pores and made me have a really itchy rash. I had to stop using it and go back to regular sun cream which made the rash less itchy but it did not fully disappear until two weeks after the holiday. The oil will be suitedto some people's skin but my skin hated it. It just blocked my skin and stopped it breathing. I would not buy it again as prickly heat is a nightmare.

      In terms of sun protection, it kept me burn free and I found it really easy to apply. I found it much easier to apply than cream as it rubs in really easily.

      This is not for me and I won't be buying it again but it will be good for some people who do not suffer from prickly heat. The product is good quality and it smells good so I would recommend it. As this is my opinion though I can only give it three stars for the effects it had on me. It is easy to apply though and the product gives really good sun protection.
