---Intro--- I was lucky this year going on holiday as I didn't need to fork out for any sun tan lotion lotion (I know that sun-tan lotion isn't the 'correct' term, but it's what I call it) - I already had three on the go. There seemed little point in taking the factor 15 as there wasn't much left, but packed the two factor 20s - one of which was this Garnier Ambre Solaire spray on sun-tan, and the other which was a traditional cream lotion. Having only had a very brief period of summer in Cumbria back in May I had only had one chance to catch any sun, so needed a medium protection which is what this SPF 20 provides. Having recently reviewed Garnier Ambre Solaire SPF 50 for sun intolerant skin, it is now the turn of it's little sister Medium 20 SPF. As I live mostly in Spain and work outside on boats I have always taken care of my pale skin. Probably more than others who, like my lucky husband, tend never burn to and have olive type Mediterranean skins. The Ambre Solaire range is a tried and trusted brand, possibly more expensive than others but one that I will spend more on to get the protection that I need particularly on my face which has already sustained some sun damage. Medium 20 is a milky spray designed for fair skins that already have a bit of a tan. it provides ... Read the complete review

When it's sunny I always wear sun tan lotion even if it's just when I'm taking a walk or going shopping. I like to protect my skin as much as possible. I have used several brands over the years, I tend to go for well known brands but that are on offer so the actual product I go for does vary. Garnier Ambre Solaire is the brand I've used a lot. I bought SPF 20 which is considered to be high although I think it is all relative really, if it is for my grandchildren then I don't consider it to be high enough or if it's a roasting hot day I don't think it's high enough for me but on a 'normal' summer's day I think SPF 20 is sufficient for my ...
