I know this is probably in the wrong place but there is nowhere else for this review to go! I had heard some bad reviews of the automated spray tanning booths...not to mention the Friends episode where Ross gets done! (He ends up tangoed) I didn't fancy a machine being in total control of my tan so I opted for a more "bespoke" option! I went along to my local beauticians and the beautician herself sprayed me with a little spray gun! I must mention that I exfoliated well the night before...You are advised to wear very loose fitting clothes so that all your tan does not rub off on the way home before it gets a chance to develop. Being an impatient soul. I couldn't be bothered to have regular sun bed sessions before my holidays one year. I decided to follow the examples of Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston and invest in a MagicTan. I would have liked their figures and their money not to mention the lovely Mr Pitt but you can't have everything can you? Everything I'd heard about MagicTan was positive so as I had a £5 coupon off the normal £25 price I booked at my nearest MagicTan centre, which just happened to be in Whitley Bay, in North Tyneside. I got a spray tan offer from groupon for just £9 instead of £25 so I thought it was worth giving it a go at that price. This was my first spray tan so I was a bit nervous and wasnt sure what to expect. When I arrived I was told to go into this small room which I was told I could wear my own knickers or the paper pants they provided, I went for there pants as I didnt fancy getting my ones ruined. I was then given a plastic shower cap to put on my hair and to undress and take my bra off. I felt a little uneasy as im not one for standing practically naked infront of anyone. I was then asked if I wanted a light, medium or dark tan, I went for the medium ... Read the complete review

I tried a spray tan yesterday sinply because I had never tried it before. First of all I went into a small room and was told to undress. The girl asked if I wanted to wear my own pants, the paper ones supplied. I felt a bit more secure in my own so I kept them on. She then told me that I could keep my bra on, or take it off. I didn't exactly feel comfortable so i kept it on. I did laugh to myself when she explained that I would need to protect my hair as it is very fair and offered a pair of paper pants. We haven't got any caps left, she told me, but these will do the same job. So, off I went, dressed in knickers, bra and wearing paper ... Read the complete review
