Disadvantages: may not be able to fly with it? aerosol
This may seem rather a strange product to be reviewing this time of year but due to hot flushes & summer (hopefully around the corner) I thought you may be interested if you see this around on offer.
It usually retails around £4.90 per can but I found one in a dump basket in LLoyds for £2.25 & having used it before I popped the 180g can in my basket.
Mine is the Hot Weather Cooler & Freshener which is the blue one with darker writing - I was hoping that they'd have the orange Plus one too as it deals with itchy skin but had to make do with the one I got.
The plastic top just pulls off & there's a well-designed spray which allows you to pump out how much/little you need. It smells lovely & fresh & immediately cools the skin down - great if you have 'sporty' feet ( you know what I mean!) but I use it on my face & inner wrists as well as the decolote & it works a treat.
It isn't drying in any way at all & makes the skin feel cool & hydrated & refreshed. It can be used on children & pets too - all we need now is some heat & sun folks!
It's been formulated by scientists & Magicool (patented) claims to be the 1st & only safe spray face & body spray & is described as 'your very own air-conditioner in a can'. I can imagine this being used by singles, families, people who drive long distances in cars/ lorries plus teachers (for themselves) over over-heated kids. It would also be good for menopausal women & hot preganant women (but I guess you should show it to your doctor first?). It would also be helpful for those who have disabilities & find it difficult to get to their sinks.
As it has a pleasant but not feminine smell I would recommend it to our menfolk - what's nicer than a good spray at 1/2 time in a footie match etc?
This can is quite a large size & as the product lasts a good while I think it's £ well spent - my last one lasted me all last summer & there's still some left & I think there's nothing worse than being overheated.
There are plenty of cheaper similar products on the market but personally I've found this to be worth the extra & I'd recommend trying it especially if you see it on offer or find a tester.
Summary: well worth a try if you're hot like me
