This product truly is magicool

Advantages: Relieves me of the symptoms of prickly heat and heat rash
Disadvantages: Very hard to buy
Whenever I am in the sun for more than a couple of days I find that my skin suffers from heat rash. This can vary from a few red raised spots that go down over night, to some larger marks on my body that can look like quite severe burns. They are unusual and I have never seen them on anyone else. They don't hurt and only occassionally cause some itching but it is more the way they look that bothers me.
To combat this I have tried a range of products, the most expensive being the special sun cream that stops heat rash... yeah right. It is claimed that the oils in normal sun cream can make heat rash worse, well these sun creams do nothing for me. Taking antihistamines can reduce it a bit but only the drowsy ones seem to do anything and this can ruin a holiday. This used to get me down until dah dah daaaaaaah I found magicool plus. Magicool is a cooling spray made mainly of water, magicool plus claims to have other ingredients that help to reduce heat rash. It really is amazing stuff.
I started using this a few years ago and bought the product from Boots. As I only use it a few times a year it has lasted ages. However when I recently went to buy more from Boots, they had no idea what I was talking about and fobbed me off with an inferior Boots own brand product that did nothing. This is why I am so excited to see it on here and available. Seriously I cannot tell you how great this stuff is if you suffer from heat rashes and prickly heat.
It comes in a aerosol can which I think allows it to be sprayed at a low temperature, helping the heat rash to cool. As expected the main ingredient in this is aqua, however it also contains Dimethyl Ether, Cyclodimethicone, Allantoin, Dimethoxymethane, polysorbate 80, Mea-borate and Triethanolamine. Now if you are like me, this means absolutely nothing, but what I do know is at least one of those ingredients is that magic ingredient that makes my holidays so much more enjoyable.
It is a sterile, non-steroidal spray. The can claims to instantly stop and clear itching and irritated skin due to prickly heat, which I support. It also says that it is suitable for all ages including infants. It is used by simply holding the can about 10cms away from the affected area and spraying liberally.
It seems that the product is retailing on the internet at between £6-£8 and although i'm sure this is more than when Boots used to stock it, this is nothing when compared to the relief it brings me.
I cannot recommend this product more to all you fellow prickly heat and heat rash sufferers, it truly is magicool.
Summary: A fantastic product that needs to be more widely available
