Advantages: Immediate relief from heat, cools down the air as well as the body
Disadvantages: Would like something else in it to make the effects last a tad longer
When I am going on a beach holiday one of the things I have to buy is a bottle of Magicool. There are some other cheaper versions on the market now but for me this is still the best one that you can get.
Magicool comes in a pressurised container that looks like either a small hairspray bottle or a can of deodorant. It is a cooling spray which can be used anywhere without the need for chilling it and it gives an immediate burst of cooling and refreshing mist.
I love Magicool and I always take a can away with me when I am going on holiday somewhere hot. I also like to have some in the summer in my glove box as the heat when you get in the can in summer can be stiflingly uncomfortable and this cools the air down enough to make it bearable until my air conditioning has a chance to cool the car down.
You use this by just spraying it all over your body. You need to hold it slightly away from your body for you to get the full effects and the relief it gives from the heat is immediate and welcome when you are roasting hot. I like to take this to the beach with me and when lying on a sun lounger just spray it on me occasionally when I am starting to feel too warm.
It has also been a big help when I have stayed places that don't have air conditioning as this helps cool my body down enough to that I no longer feel so uncomfortable and can actually get to sleep. The only thing about this that I don't like is that it doesn't last long enough. I know it isn't designed to cool your body down for a long time and is only supposed to give you an instant relief but I would like it if it had something that lingered to the skin making it cooler for longer.
This costs £5 which I know is expensive but it is a luxury that I wouldn't go without when somewhere hot. The bottle looks quite small but it actually lasts a surprisingly long time considering how small it looks. I suppose because the spray is so powerful and it comes out as a fine mist you use less than you actually think you are using.
For me this is a fantastic item for summer and hot weather and I wouldn't be without it when abroad but I also tend to use it quite often in the UK even just to cool my car and if I go camping as it also really takes the stifling heat out of a tent when you come back to it from a day out and it has been zipped up all day.
If like me you sometimes find the heat too much then this is the product for you as it really is magic and does an amazing job at cooling you down and bringing your overall body temperature down a little bit and making the heat just that bit more bearable.
Summary: A must have for hot weather
