Apart from having a shiny fruity lip balm with me all the time, I usually have a "heavy duty" one in stock for winter, when my lips need more protection. I usually try different ones each winter, and this year is a year of Neutrogena Lip Care SPF 20. Packaging: This lip balm comes in a small cardboard box with all necessary information on it - from name, logo, content and ingredients to SPF factor and size. Inside there is a lip balm in a stick (4.8g), in white usual plastic lipstick case, again containing all the info you may need. I do like reading from the packaging when I have nothing to do, and this lip balm gives opportunity to do so (and ... Read the complete review

Aah Winter. A time of sniffles, snuffles. It's cold, windy and generally miserable. Whilst it may be a grim time for me, makers of nostrums and remedies are no doubt rubbing their hands together in glee. Even lip balm makers will be doing well, as a combination of colds and flu, and wind and chill conspire to dry and crack my lips. I don't use lip balm on a daily basis, only when my lips have turned a bit scaly, cracked and uncomfortable. This has happened, due in no small measure to the factors listed above. I therefore popped to Boots to find a suitable healing lip balm. Well, stone me, there are a lot of them. Sadly, they're all sealed in boxes, so you can't .. Read the complete review

My ongoing obsession with upgrading the level of skin care I use had a real boost today. On a purely chance foray to the moneysavingexpert website, I read that Superdrug stores put a Blue Cross sale on after Christmas - reducing some items to as much as 10p. The website's forum listed some fantastic buys so, as I was going into town anyway, I thought I'd take a detour and have a look for myself in case anything was left. I wasn't holding out much hope as the sale had been on so long, but as it turns out I lucked out. Amongst my local store's offers were a number of products at 49p, including a lot of lip balms and treatments. In transitional weather periods ... Read the complete review

For some reason, I just can't seem to buy just one lip balm and stick to it, I either lose them, have them scattered around various places or just simply get bored of them... no matter how good they are it seems. So I bought this one as another one of my new ones as it promised to be super moisturising and really, thats all you could want from a lip balm. I personally thought that it had a bit of an odd smell, not the usual kind of smell that you would expect from a lip balm, being neither fruity, flowery or medicinal like most other lip balms are. To be honest, this did put me off a little before I even put it on my lips. When I did ... Read the complete review

I love this product it certainly does meet expectations. Here is some useful product info:- Neutrogena 6 hour protection balm Claims to moisturise and protect lips for 6 hours 15ml Made in France I use this quite regularly and have noticed that my lips don't dry out as much as they did when the heating is on in the office. I have also noticed that they appear a little deeper in colour making them look a lot healthier. The balm has a minty taste to it which isn't too over powering and the appearance on lips is a clear gloss to start then you can't really tell you are wearing it. When it is first applied it gives your lips a slight ... Read the complete review
