Quite simply, J'adore. I love revlon so much, I really think they should pay me. Or at the very least, send me freebies.
This bronzer is amazing. My skin is so pale, that I never usually bother, but this is so easy to use, that it's hard to resist.
It's the perfect little compact, really easy to use. You pop open the lid, and there's a sizeable pan of shimmering bronzer, perfectly suited to most skintones, even mine.
There's a natty button to the side of the brush, which when pressed reveals a handy mirror. Thus making it perfect for touch ups on the go! I can vouch for it's usability when doing your make up hurriedly on the train on the way to a good night out...
It's compact size means it's perfect for popping in your bag for a night out, too.
The formulation is really light, and doesn't appear to clog up your skin at all, even with an oily complexion. The shade itself like I said, is 'one shade suits most', and the little highlighting flecks really bring out the shade. I would definately recommend this product, especially to bronzer newbies, like me!
Since the weather hasn't been that spectacular in England many women have turned to ludicrous amounts of fake tan, bronzers, tanning pills and all sorts of methods of making them look like they have a Marbella or perhaps St Tropez tan all year round. And yes I am one of them.
Revlon Sun kissed bronzer is £7.49 for 5g from Boots. This price is fairly reasonable for a bronzer but that is probably because I'm used to buying products from the likes of Chanel and Dior which tend to be in the 20s-30s price region.
can't say enough good things about this bronzer, I have never had a bronzer that starts of so subtle and light that even my pale girlfriends can use. Now for some this might seem rather silly having a 'subtle' bronzer especially to wags and the likes of Katie Price. However, don't worry girls you can build the colour up to as DARK as you like... and that is what makes this bronzer so fantastic.
I love the aspect of been able to build it up to a colour I want rather than having it either too light or too dark. Therefore, if you fancy going for a subtle natural glow you just brush it lightly onto the cheeks, nose and forehead once. On the other hand, if you have been on holiday and caught a tan and want a darker bronzed look to go with the tan then you can just add accordingly. Yep it's that simple.
The Revlon Bronzer comes in three shades. Sun kissed is the no 2 shade which is therefore for people who have medium skin tones.
Initially, when I noticed there was only THREE shades available I thought it was ridiculous and expected a wider choice. However, having purchased it and realised how you can build up the colour I think even three shades is a lot for this product as you can easily build up the first or second one to make it look like the third shade.
Because of this I think the shade selection is great because there is a large choice for a bronzer that is buildable.
the bronzer is kitted with a pop out mirror which I didn't even notice it had until I checked the boots site. The packaging is fairly basic but I didn't expect it to be anything fancy as it is only a Revlon product it's not like its Armani or anything!
The packaging almost reminds me of Rommel's products which are packaged usually in a transparent compact.
The bronzer comes with a really stupid small brush that makes the bronzer look terrible when applied; it looks blotchy when applied with this farce of a brush so I would definitely not recommend using it.
Overall, this bronzer is fantastic. The colours are really nice and give you a really healthy glow without looking 'orange' or caked in make-up.
It also lasts a good three- four hours before you need to touch it up which is fairly good compared to some bronzers which need to be topped up every hour.
This is probably one of my favourite bronzers and I will definitely be purchasing another one.
