i normally use St Tropez and Dove Summer Body, but tried this after it being recommended by a friend. The gel does come out quite dark, but once it is on the skin it develops into a very natural looking tan. I spread it on using my hands and then buff it gently with a mitt and wash my hands frequently. I do find that your legs do need to be completely smooth as the colour seems to "catch" in the hairs somehow and the tan starts to flake. One other thing to watch is the rain - the rain drops can leave a mottled look on your legs - not a good look lol! and i do find it dries my skin out a bit. For the price it is a really good fake tan and properly applied it gives a very lovely colour, just wish it wasn't a one day fake tan. Well done Rimmel!
