I LOVE this product! I used to use the (normal) kind of fake tan that stayed on for days until I suddenly started breaking out in a terribly itchy rash whenever I used it and no matter what brand - expensive, cheap, everything!
So I started to use wash off tan and the first one that I used was Benefit Jiffy Tan, which was good but somewhat expensive for how much I was using. I was so happy to find the Rimmel brand at Boots, much cheaper and I think an even better looking tan than the Jiffy Tan. I use the light non-shimmer one - I find the medium to be way too dark and a bit of a strange colour. I use a small amount on my exposed skin (usually forearms, neck and upper chest - lower legs in the summer) during the day and everyone thinks that I am naturally olive-skinned (I am not at all). Many people have remarked how natural it looks and can't believe it's fake tan. However, as other people have mentioned, beware of rain or spilled drinks and it will run right off when touched by liquid! It will also come off on your sheets, but comes right out in the wash and doesn't stain.
For application, Boots also sell a self-tan mitt which is made out of a thin foam and is what I use. It gives you a really even and non streaky application. The mitt is probably about £3 - £4, which is a bit spendy, but if you rinse it frequently and even put it through the washing machine, you can make it last.
