This is my first review and i thought i'd start off with my own speciality- Fake tan. As a naturally very fair skinned person who feels the need to wear false tan all year round due to my lack of ability to catch a natural tan. I feel that this is a great alternative to sunbeds and many other false tans. Other fake tans being hard to remove when they eventually become patchy and streaky, this rimmel bottle tan is instant and easy t wash off and re-apply when if it begins to look uneven. It's also great if your in a rush and don't have the time to wait hours on end for a tan which needs to develop.It doesnt have a predictable fake tan smell, so noone will be able to notice whether its fake ot not.
There are many shades to this tan, from fair to dark, so it is a suitable product for all skin ranges.The tube is 125ml or 4.2 fl oz and as you only need a small amount so it should last quite a long time. It costs approximatley £5.00 to purchase this item.
As all fake tan applications, you should ritually cleanse and exfoliate before applying it to your skins moisturised surface. I feel that this is slightly hard to rub in as you have to rub it into your skin straight away before it leaves marks.Although, i have come up with an alternative to avoid this, just mix a pea sized amount of moisturiser in with the tan before applying to the the skin and it spreads on more evenly.
Although, there are some negative points to this wonderfull invention, when applied always wash your hands straight after otherwise you will be left scrubbing at the remainder of dark brown patches on your palms. The other downfall to the instant tan is trying to avoid the rain, if not your tan will result in a weird looking patchy skin disease. This fake tan is most suitable for a night out in the town, because if worn in the sunlight gives a sparkly shimmer.
Overall, definately worth the price tag, for a effective tan that looks great.
