Advantages: Price, natural looking
Disadvantages: Smell, can leak
I first bought this after it being reccomended by a friend, I was skeptical at first, as it looked like it was going to be a cheap rip-off of 'St Tropez' but I was proven wrong!
I buy a 200ml bottle of St Tropez once a month, and at £22.50 a pop, it was creating a gaping hole in my bank balance JUST for fake tan, so I reached for this cheaper alternative at £2.99 which promised similar results. I got home, shaved exfoliated and moisturized, took a deep breath and started applying the product (i was scared I would have to go into work smelling like curry and with a orange streaky tan the next day!). The product came out like a brown grayish mousse just like St Tropez and it glided over my skin easily, it was extremelly easy to work with and rubbed in well leaving colour where I had already applied the tan to prevent streakiness. However, I wasn't pleased with the smell - it had that very biscuity self tanner smell that usual self tans have but even stronger! It said that it gradually darkened over the course of 4 hours and it did. It left a very natural tan look which was more of a golden brown than an orange so that was a plus point for me.
I showered the next morning to get rid of the smell and was happy to see that it had not removed any of the tan in places. However, the same day I came home from work and got in the shower again, and when I got out the tan had removed from the front of my legs and the top of my arms, leaving me with horrid dirty looking skin. Immediately I scrubbed the rest of the tan off which came off in no time. So this is not a very long lasting tan to say the least, however it would be a great product for clubbing or partying as it will last for the night at the very least!
I would reccomend this product, St Tropez is better but not better enough to pay an extra £20 for! I will stick to using St Moriz as I believe that for the price, the quality of the product is great and the only downside would be that it isnt long lasting, also that the product can leak and stain drawers, so keep upright.
4/5 all in all!
Summary: A must have!
