Advantages: Cheap, easy application, many different colours.
Disadvantages: Sometimes goes green, runs in water if not set.
This fake tan is amazing value! £3 a bottle you can't go wrong!!
The fake tan has a light smell, when you apply it, it smells of soap. When it has dried (for example, the next morning) there is a distinct fake tan smell, but after a shower this soon goes. This is very good as more expensive fake tans normally have a much stronger smell- giving the fact that the tan is fake away!
On application, the tan comes easily out of the bottle in a pumping notion, and it spreads on easily to the skin. However, you need to use a tanning mitt, as this makes the tan much easier to spread, and it also means that you don't get orange hands, which is a dead give away.
There are three different shades to this tan, as you can get three different bottles. There is a light one, medium one, and dark one, depending on how dark you want your tan. Beware- the dark is very dark! My advice would be to buy a medium one and judge this. If you want an even darker tan, you can always apply more layers.
The one problem with this tan is that it can sometimes go green, and nobody wants to look green! If this happens, you need to wait for the tan to set (leave it about 12 hours), and then shower and you should turn a brown colour.
This is an instant tan, but be warned, if you go in the rain before the time the tan has set, it will run and go patchy. It is best to leave it at least 6 hours before you encounter water, but I normally leave at least 9 just to be sure!
The bottle lasts quite a few applications, which makes it even more of a money saving tan!
The tan normally lasts about five days, but will wear off of the hands and feet a bit before, as these are the most used areas of skin- think about how many times you wash your hands! When you are removing the tan, ex-foliate and it will easily come off, and you can reapply. However, do not shave your legs and then reapply the tan, as it will show up the shaving marks. So fake tan, and then shave in the morning for the best results.
Summary: An amazing fake tan, puts the other expensive tans to shame.
