      Sublime!

I am very lucky indeed to have some very generous friends! I was happy a couple of years ago when a mate of mine who was addicted to this stuff and had a huge stockpile of it gave me a bottle to try out. Costing around £20.00 for a 150ml tube at the time and me being unimpressed at the time with anything that reminded me of a fake tan kind of product I was happy to receive it free and being St Tropez, which was really all the rage at the time was I very grateful indeed!

However nowadays this product isn't readily available to buy and that has given me a right headache over time. I really love this product and regard it very highly indeed but can only find it on Ebay or if I'm lucky (which I have been lately), managed to find it on markets so if interested in buying this you need to really search and sniff it out and use Google though instead if it costing about £20.00 a bottle I now manage to usually pay around the £12.00 mark for a tube. St Tropez do still stock tan extenders and intensifiers however they do not stock this one on their website and its certainly not in Boots anymore I can verify that much lol!

      The Packaging:

Well the tube is white and squeezy and like I have touched on already is 150ml in size and it has a flip top black plastic lid concealing a small hole to the bottom of it. On the front of the tube we are told in black, turquoise and silver writing that it is Hydrating Tan Intensifier 'Antioxidant' St. Tropez 'Ultimate Tan' Tan Intensifier and then some stuff is written on there in a foreign language and the size is stated. On the back of the tube other information listed includes being told a bit about the product and how to use it, warnings and contact details for St Tropez are given and again lots of information is listed in foreign languages again. The packaging is robust, easy to use though oddly enough no information is really given about what it should really achieve so for a new user I reckon when they see the coloured lotion and then see its called a colour intensifier they could be a little confused. I mean they could think is it a fake tan or something which really it isn't!

A Bit About Th Product According To The Information Listed On The Back Of The Tube:

Keep your natural tan looking, gorgeous tan....for longer.

St. Tropez Tan Intensifier gives you beautiful colour and silky soft, hydrated skin in just a few hours. Perfect for keeping you tan looking amazing.

Rich Mediterranean oils contain Vitamin E, an antioxidant, to nourish, soften and help protect the skin from aging. The paraben-free formula also features a unique combination of tanning agents which give longer-lasting, smoother results.

      Using It:

Well this is actually a really simple product to use! I use this on skin with a tan already and have also used it actually on the top of fake tan (a good quality one not cheap stuff mind you!) and have always got brilliant results from it!

The lotion I opt for is always the 'Dark intense' which is actually the darkest colour intensifier from this range of products. The lotion oozes out of the tube easily and is a great consistency and is actually a milk chocolate in colour with a cocoa butter aroma to it which is really light and sweet and perfectly pleasant and that fragrance lingers on the skin beautifully for a good few hours too.

All you do with this is gently massage it into clean skin and this is wonderful moisturiser. Its easy to blend in as you can see the colour of it as you go and it isn't oily or anything adverse like that and it dries into the skin immediately and this really does leave my skin feeling beautifully and gently moisturised and supple and I give it a few minutes before dressing to make sure it is really dry before dressing as, as I have mentioned it does contain a little colour and I always wash my hands after using it.

This is not a fake tan though if you used it that way (which I have done) it does give a gentle colour to the skin. However this is meant to compliment your own colour, be it a natural tan which is what its designed for or a fake tan (in my experience). It sinks into the skin taking the colour with it intensifying the colour you usually have and so doesn't tend to build up like fake tan can on the skin and it doesn't wash off under water i.e shower. Once its initially dried in thats it, I don't find it to flake or rub off or anything at all adverse like that.

This really does gently enhance skin tones but not only that it is really kind to the skin and I find that if I use this daily or even a couple of times a week that this really is one of the best moisturisers I have ever used and perfect for popping on after sunbathing to hydrate your poor old skin with!

I absolutely love this product as you may have guessed by now.! It intensifies tans, natural or not!), is kind to my skin and with regularly using this even extends the life of my tan by skin drinking in the colour!

Fabulous stuff that should be more readily available to use for the masses...its simply splendid people!
