Advantages: Easy to apply and remove, kind to skin
Disadvantages: Only offers very, very slight coverage but works at evening out my skin tone a bit
In this weather we are having at the moment, I like a lot of women at the moment are experiencing problems getting my make up to stay on my face longer than five minutes. However I am not too bothered about wearing make up usually in the day but if I'm going out or out for an evening I do still want to even out my skin tone and brighten myself up a bit!
This was available to me in a couple of colours which were light and deep options and I went for the deep to add a bronze colour to my skin and I paid only £1.00 for several tubes of this in my local Poundland store knowing I was grabbing a complete bargain from a big brand and usually I love Stila products and know this costs around about £25.00 pound a bottle if your lucky enough to find it and the only place I can find it available is online on places like Amazon at the time of writing this review.
The Packaging:
This comes in a very basic looking light brown cardboard box and on the front of it and all in black writing we are told that it is Stila Sheer Color 'SPF 15' Tinted Moisturiser and that it is a 50ml sized product and then on the back of the box other information listed includes warnings and ingredients, we are told that once we have opened this to use it up within 24 months, the colour is stated and contact details for Stila are given. The bottle actually appears rather cheap looking considering it such a high priced and well branded product and is simply a light grey plastic bottle with a twist on/off lid to the bottom of it and on the front of it again in black writing we are told what it is, the size is stated as are once again the ingredients and the colour and finally contact details for Stila are listed. Functional the packaging is but nothing special.
Using It:
Well you can apply this to a clean face and that's that and it adds a little colour to the skin and a slight sheen which obviously comes from the moisturiser within this or you can use it in place of a foundation and add other make up to it if you prefer.
The liquid is rather runny and at first I was concerned at the rather orangy/brown colour of this even though it is referred to as a deep shade however I dot this around my face and it gently blends in easily and like I say gives a slight sheen but not in a greasy way to my skin. Its simply so easy to apply and to remove it with your usual make up routine and I love that about this product.
This holds no fragrance to my nasal passages at all and once on the skin it does seem to even out my skintone really well and feels really light on an I can even forget about it. My skin does feel very gently moisturised and even if I do sweat and this comes off like most make up does in this heat you can't see the colour oozing or anything like that from my face thankfully!
This hasn't upset my sensitive skin at all and in fact not only when this is on my face but also when it isn't I have noticed my skin feels and looks better in general!
A little of this goes a very long way indeed but really this is only ok for people who need a very light coverage and not looking to hide spots and imperfections really. I do feel more confident with it on and it gives my face a very natural look so all in all its a great summer essential in my opinion as containing an SPF of 15 I know that it helps to protect my skin from the elements too so i'm glad I bought a few tubes of this on the cheap when I did!
Google if interested.

Summary: A nice product but not one I would pay full price for!
