... such a lovely smell that it was a favourite. The cost is a little on the expensive side but I think that is because of the branding and the 'luxury' feel that this has and it does make a good present - I've received it as a gift on a few occasions and it certainly looks much nicer than a bog standard cheapy version out of a supermarket! I like the SPF value and my favourite thing about it is the smell, when I used it at work I got comments on how nice the scent was. In terms of how well it works... I don't think it...more

The Sanctuary Hand Care The Sanctuary range offers a variety of different beauty products, all well packaged and very effective. The Sanctuary began as a Spa in Covent Garden over 30 years ago. Their philosophy is all about providing the time, space and expertise for women to renew that glow. I've never been to the Spa but friends have been and they do say that it is a wonderful experience and definitely a very upmarket product. Their hand care products were actually developed in the London Covent Garden spa. Generally most of the Sanctuary products are packaged in a very distinctive orange colour. I think this gives the products quite an upmarket ...  Read the complete review

I must confess to biting my nails. Every few months I decide to grow them and I have to take really good care of my hands morning and evening, and sometimes at work during the day, to ensure they are soft and pretty so that I don't want to bite my nails. I use whatever I can get my hands on. I have tried The Sanctuary Spa Hand Cream and I quite liked it. There aren't many hand creams that I don't like though. So long as they are thick, non greasy and moisturise, I'm a happy bunny. This hand cream is thick and rich and conditions the hands and nails and softens cuticles. This was great for me, as it meant I coudl buff up my nails and keep them ...  Read the complete review

I started to develop very dry skin on my hands due to having a hands on job and also because I am out running or walking mountains in all different weather conditions. This meant I needed a very good hand cream so I tried out the Sanctuary one as I have used other products of theirs and been very happy with them. This hand cream has a Sun Protection Factor of 15 to prevent sun damage, which is great due to the fact that I spend a lot of time outdoors. It also uses the antioxidants of vitamin E and white tea to prevent free radicals that cause aging. It has that distinct Sanctuary smell that is gentle and not overpowering. When I first put it on my ...  Read the complete review

The packaging shown is the old design and I actually preferred it to the way it looks here - it's now white and orange and I think the size has decreased slightly too which is a tad annoying. For a while this was the only hand cream I would use and buy. I like to keep a tube of hand cream on my desk at work and this had such lovely packaging and such a lovely smell that it was a favourite. The cost is a little on the expensive side but I think that is because of the branding and the 'luxury' feel that this has and it does make a good present - I've received it as a gift on a few occasions and it certainly looks much nicer than a bog standard cheapy version out of a ...  Read the complete review
