Advantages: Rubs in easily. Good protection from the sun.

Disadvantages: The expensive price.

I bought this sun lotion last year as I got a very good offer from a magazine to get it for next to nothing. It retails at £19 for 50ml in Waitrose which I don't consider to be that cheap. However, I bought it due to the very generous offer I had from a magazine.

This cream is just a sun lotion for your face, not a full body one. It is in a white plastic bottle which isn't very big. The writing on the bottle is in blue and red and to be honest I feel the packaging implies this is a cheap product when in actual fact the opposite is true. I think it is because the writing reminds me of the logo of the Tesco Value range! Very pernickety of me as well, but I don't like brand names that don't have a capital at the beginning of the name so I would have preferred it to be Ultrasun rather than ultrasun!

There is a clear top which you need to pull off which is easy to do then there is a pump spray underneath to get the cream out which is also very easy to do. The cream is dispensed nicely onto your finger or face; however you choose to do it. The consistency is halfway between thick and thin. Might not sound very helpful but it's the truth! It is not really runny and it is not stiff, just in between! It smells very pleasant, just like sun cream does but it is not coconutty like some are (more's the pity as then I would really love it!). You don't need much in order to cover your face in the cream, as a little bit goes quite far. It does soak into the skin quite easily though. It does not look or feel greasy on the face after it is rubbed in.

I have never burnt my face whilst wearing this cream and I do genuinely believe it is a good strong cream. However, I don't see any justification in spending £19 on a small bottle when a normal supermarket brand of high factor sun lotion would do the same.

A nice cream but not worth the money in my opinion.

Summary: Nice cream which works well, but just too expensive.
