I'll go to the high street next time

I purchased these sunglasses, the Adidas Sunglasses AH21 Ipanema from Manchester Airport for the sale price of £59, though I have seen that the RRP is in the region of £95. They are not sunglasses I've actually seen on the high street previously so if you do want a pair my suggestion is to pick them up online as you may make a saving. **What do you get?** I got a soft velvet type case, a cardboard presentation box, the glasses, and a small yellow cleaning wipe, all branded with the Adidas logo. **Looks** The Adidas Sunglasses AH21 Ipanema look good, they're a 'bug style' pair which suit me and they're styled in black plastic with a small silver Adidas crest logo to the side arms on each side. The lenses are black, not graduated and you can't see the wearer's eyes when they have them on. I went for a sporty pair of sunglasses because I was going away on a sporty holiday though I must admit I wouldn't normally wear anything Adidas. These however are very nice, and definately have a look of Versace type glasses with the crest on the sides. **Use & Wear** These glasses do sit nicely on the face and are very comfortable around the nose and on the backs of the ears. The glasses are UV200 which means there is no squinting even in the brightest sun and they're totally waterproof too so great for beach use, jogging and so on. They're hardwearing, despite a few drops and more than a bit of sand in the carry bag there's no scratches on them at all. Overall yes they're really good all round glasses. **Downsides** The only real downsides for me are firstly the glasses seem to sit quite close to the face if that makes sense, meaning that it can get a bit sweaty around the eye area in very high temperatures. My second concern is that personally I would have preferred a hard case, this is something you'd need to buy at additional cost. Finally I think all things considered these are fairly bog standard plastic glasses and I question where the cost of £59 is justified, I bought them on a bit of a whim because I was in an airport and needed some but really I could have picked up a similar pair without the Adidas branding for under £10, probably under £5 in any UK high street store. I wouldn't say there is anything unique or amazing about these glasses, really if you are willing to pay £59 all you're getting for that is the Adidas branding. **Recommend?** Only if you are an Adidas fan and are looking for some trendy not really very sporty Adidas branded glasses. Otherwise you could buy a few pairs in different styles still with the same UV rating and style, and save a bit of money in the process. So if these are something you want to buy based on the looks then go for it online. Otherwise my advice would be to buy a high street pair.
