Peppa Pig Sunglasses
Advantages: Cheap, look good, protect from the sun
I've been buying bits and pieces for our upcoming holiday for months now, I knew my daughter would love a pair of sunglasses and when I spotted these Peppa Pig ones in Asda I knew they would be perfect for my Peppa Pig mad 2 year old.
The glasses come packaged hanging from a strip of cardboard, this cardboard has the usual Peppa Pig branding. To get the sunglasses off of the cardboard you simply need to give the plastic tie a snip. The sunglasses also have the small sticker on one lens that says they are UV protected, this sticker is easy to just pull off without leaving any marks on the lens beneath.
My local Asda have quite a big selection of childrens sunglasses, these Peppa Pig ones cost £4 but they also sell unbranded sunglasses for just £3. They can be found with childrens accessories, or also online at asda.co.uk.
The design of the glasses is nice and girly. They are coloured in a nice, almost, baby pink colour with polka dots in a darker shade of pink running down both arms of the sunglasses. These arms have a chunky design, with them tailing off from the lenses at the same size and gradually getting thinner nearer to the end. On one corner of the sunglasses 'Peppa' is written in blue and on the other corner is a picture of Peppa pig herself.
The actual lenses of the sunglasses are quite dark so that you know you are getting a good protection from the sun and it's rays. However, it isn't so dark that young children find it hard to see out of them. I believe my daughter can see everything just as well as when she hasn't got any sunglasses on once her eyes have adjusted. When shes wearing them she doesn't have any problems falling over things etc.
My daughter can put these sunglasses on herself, sometimes upside down but she gets there. They fit nicely on her nose and cover her eyes well when they are on the right way round. The arms fit snugly against her head and she has never experienced them rubbing or being too tight that they make any marks on her head.
I'd definitely recommend these Peppa Pig sunglasses, they have a reasonable price, have a cute design, fit snugly on my 2 year olds head and protect her eyes from the sun. There is nothing me or my daughter don't like about these sunglasses!
Summary: Nice shades
