I wear sunglasses all year round as I find they help to prevent headaches from glare. I consider sunglasses to be important to help prevent damage to my eyes caused by harmful ultraviolet light. Whilst I am happy to opt for cheap items when it comes to fashion I am not prepared to compromise where my eyes are concerned! I have always worn Ray Bans as I think they are well made, look good and most importantly; protect my eyes!

Last summer I decided to treat myself to a new pair of Ray Bans as my ancient ones really were looking a bit dated! I opted for a classic aviator style with silver metal frames. The classic aviator design was first designed to be worn by pilots in the 1930's and is still a popular design today. As this design has been around for so long I figured it wouldn't date!

Like all Ray bans the aviator has Ray Ban written in white letters on the front on one lens. The all important lenses are category 3; this means that these sun glasses are have high glare reduction and good UV protection. I really wouldn't bother buying sunglasses with less than category 3 lenses as they won't offer you enough protection.

These sun glasses are well made as you would expect from Ray Ban and have a slight green tint to the lenses. This style is available in several different frame colours and with either mirror glass or tinted glass. The prices vary but I paid around £100 for mine from Johan Lewis. A word of warning- there are a lot of fake Ray Bans on the market so I recommend you buy from a reputable retailer!

I use my sunglasses for driving as well as everyday wear and find they really do reduce glare quite considerably. I am pleased that colours are not distorted and the large lenses give complete eye protection. Another plus point is that these sunglasses don't seem to steam up!

Overall I can highly recommend these sunglasses. I love the style ,they are treally comfortable to wear and give good protection.
