I first came across Altoids while on holiday and was in a drug store looking for some type of mint or chewing gum for my coffee breath! That's where I discovered Altoids. Altoids were originally made in the UK by a company called Smith and Company, and were originally marketed as a stomach calmative! They moved production to the US in 2005 where they are widely available. I've only found them once in the UK, online at Victoria Health. They are available in a great range of flavours anything from Peppermint, Spearmint, Wintergreen, Cinnamon (my favourite - they are really hot) and as I'm reviewing here, Liquorice.
