      Very helpful

      See review.

After perusing the sweet aisle for a new bag of "suck" I was immediately drawn to these due to the fact I hadn't seen them before.

The product I will now review is - "Asda classic favourites, sherbet fruit cocktails"

The sweets themselves come in a plastic sealed bag, there is all the usual information included brand name, product name contents and a small picture of the sweets held within, which is pretty pointless as there is also a clear panel to show off....yes, you've guessed it, the sweets within!

Within the pack there is around 20 - 25 ovalish shaped hard boiled sweets, all wrappe individually within it's own clear plastic cover.

There are five different flavours to choose from, these being strawberry, lemon, lime, orange and blackcurrant.

Each sweet is very distinctively different, which is quite unusual for these sort of sweets, usually they tend to blend together taste wise, but these do taste of what they are supposed to!

The only problem I have with these sweets is a minor, but very important one to me. When I bought these I was under the impression that these were hard boiled, meaning that these should in theory last me a good 10 minutes sucking time, in reality the outer shell of these sweets starts to disintegrate as soon as they are put into your mouth, then the urge to chew is too great for me!

When chewed the sweet almost shatters into sweet and sugary splinters which is when you become acutely aware of the sherbet centre, this explodes into your mouth with a sweet and sour cloud that is gone almost as quickly as it arrives, very delicious, very Moorish and unfortunately very addictive, and due to how quickly you can actually eat one of the sweets, you do find yourself popping another one into your mouth before you know it!

The nutritional information is as follows -
      Per sweet,
      33 kcal,
      6.8g carbohydrate,
      4.8g of which sugars,
      0.6g fat,
      0.3g of which saturates.

There are no allergy advice notices on this product but does state that this doesn't contain any artificial colours, flavours or hydrogenated fats.

Pricewise these again are a hit, singly they are available around the 80p mark, but are part of an ongoing offer, selling them "3 for £2.00".
As these are an Asda's own branded product these will, of course, only be available from there.
