I think my sweet tooth must be returning to me, because lately, whenever I go into a shop or garage or supermarket, I can't seem to leave without picking up a bag of sweets. I suppose Halloween you have an excuse, what with trick or treat, and now the buildup for Christmas is foremost on people's minds, sweet season is here! Asda do this quirky little product. I don't usually go to Asda, but we were near one visiting a relative and popped in briefly for something to eat. They have 95g bags of these milk bottles for 36p or you can get 3 for a pound (barely a saving but the pennies all mount up, I suppose). These are those chewy little white sweets ... I'm sort of in the mood to eat sweets at the moment - so while I do, I thought I'd write about the ones I've chosen to eat. - Well it almost seems wrong not to eh! Asda sell these as part of their 3 for £1 range of sweets. The pack is 95g which might not sound a lot but as these sweets don't weigh much you get a good amount in the pack - somewhere around 40ish I'd say looking at them (more than you'd want in one sitting I'd say - well unless you have a really sweet tooth anyway). The sweet is shaped like a little bottle, and it's white. Its sort of dusty the way some jelly babies are - in fact it's of a similar size and texture to the touch as well. ... By now most people who read my reviews should be aware of my 'quest' to review all Asda Brand children's sweets and so I'll open this review simply by saying that the latest bag I chose the eat and hence review was Asda Milk Bottles. These sweets come in a 100g pale blue bag and cost 38p from you'll never guess, Asda. The bag front of the bag as a grass meadow printed on it and a picture of a small black and white cow. The words Milk Bottles are printed in white on the front with the letter 'I' in milk being shaped like one of the milk bottle sweets. The front also tells me that the sweets contain no artificial colours or flavours, twice in fact it's that ... Read the complete review

Ever since I was little I've always loved the occasional sweet and with ASDA's 3 bags for £1, it was hard to resist. Especially because my favourite sweets are milk bottles! The bag contains 95g which lasts longer than you'd think, unless you're the sort who gobbles them down in 1 second flat. These sweeties are a cream colour and shaped like milk bottles hence their name "Milk Bottles". On the first taste, there was nothing overwhelming. They were quite chewy but had no real sweet taste but then you can't expect perfection from a 36p bag of sweets. Ingredients wise, they contain a minimal amount of milk, supplemented sugar and syrup. ... Read the complete review

I love sweets and always like to treat myself at the weekend to a little feast, along with my boyfriend and a good film. At the moment we are trying to gather up some savings though so we are opting for the cheaper alternatives of every thing we are buying in the shops. Normally you notice the difference in qualilty though these sweets in my opinion are great. Asda Milk Bottles are a part of the 3 for £1 sweets or 36p (approx) sold seperatly deal in Asda, this is a great deal as there is 95g in a bag of these sweets and normally this amount of sweets would cost anything between 60p and £1 for one packet. These are great quality milk bottle sweets ... Read the complete review
