Back from my International Air Cadet Exchange Trip to Belgium the first thing I noticed on my desk when I walked in was a pile of empty sweet bags with sticky notes stuck to the front of them. These are the remnants of the week before I left for my trip and so today fully recovered from the past fortnights antics I decided it was about time I set to and wrote up the reviews.
Asda's Chewy Foamy Mushrooms are another rip-roaring success in my opinion and are definitely one of my favourite sweets in this range. They cost 38p a bag but like all the sweets in this range can be purchased on offer, 3 bags for £1. The bag itself is a blend of pinks and plum colours, which actually make the bag quite eye-catching. The front of the bag also tells me, twice in fact, that the sweets contain no artificial colours or flavours. The back of the bag then deals with all the necessary nutritional information.
The bag itself contains 75g of the sweets and when it is opened gives of a wonderfully fruity aroma that is really appetising. The sweets themselves also look really delicious. They are shaped like small mushrooms with a pink top and white stem and the bag contains 25 of these sweets.
The entire sweet is made out of a chewy foamy substance and when it is placed in your mouth and chewed a sweet and delicious raspberry taste hits your taste buds. The fact that all the sweets were raspberry flavoured did not get boring either as the texture of the sweets, which is soft and fluffy, really makes them a delight to eat.

These sweets are for me a perfect little treat for anyone but are especially suited to young children. The size of the pack makes them perfect for slipping into a handbag or a pocket and because of the price of the sweets they are also brilliant for filling up sweet jars. Nutritional wise the sweets do not contain a lot of fat but the sugar content must of course be watched. One bag however as a treat is not going to do a lot of harm and therefore I would highly recommend these sweets to everyone.
Summary: Another wonderful sweet from Asda
