I have never understood why these are called dolly mixtures when there are no dolly's in them at all!! so I just looked it up and apparently it refers to the size 'small'! Dolly mixtures have been around as long as I can remember and I'm sure for a long time before that. They are made up of a mixture of fondant squares and cylinders in various flavours, there are a few jelly treats in each pack but no where near enough!! I picked up a bag of these after reading a review about them. I liked the look of the picture on here, and also the price of 30p for a 175g bag was tempting to try. I like Jelly sweets and can't think the last time I had Dolly Mixtures. The bag design isn't that exciting. It is a thin cellophane bag, which is sturdy enough. It is white and it has a see through panel on the front where you can see the Sweets through, so you know what you are buying. The writing is in green.
