Fruity Crunchy Sweets
Member Name: elbar1
Disadvantages: too sugary
I have just devoured a packet of these and loved them so much I just had to log on to dooyoo and write a review!
These are just as fruity as other fruitella sweets but are more like tootie frooties than like chewits.
Each sweet is very brightly colours and the shell is very crunchy. It is sugar coated and very sweet. It is crunchier than a chewing gum like extra but it is similar in that it is crunchy on the outside but soft and chewy inside.
The one downside is that my teeth are really hurting after eating two packets of them! Maybe I should have more control but they are just so morish!
The flavours are very fruity and very strong. There are six different flavours - strawberry, apple, lemon, cherry, orange and my favourite, pomegranate! The flavours are so intense that they make my mouth water when I eat them - that's good because the saliva can help combat all the sugar that is rotting my teeth!
At about 25 pence a packet I think they are pretty expensive for only a few sweets. I prefer proper fruitellas, which are more like chewits. Worth a go though for a change!
Summary: worth a try if you have a sweet tooth.
