Advantages: taste, decent price tag

Disadvantages: only one pack size, quite rare.

What a brilliant idea, one of the best Haribo sweets is now going it alone. Well one of the best in my opinion, everyone is different. The cola bottles inside the Happy Cola pack orignally came from the Star Mix (which they still do). Happy Cola is one of the newer releases amongst Haribo. That is in terms of new packs, not new sweets. So personally I think this is a brilliant idea and product.

Taste
---------

On taste, I can't fault the cola bottles at all. Unlike the fizzy cola bottles, the non sugar coated version gives off a much stronger flavour. Not to mention that they actually taste of cola as well. Personally, I think that they have got the mix between the cola flavour and the gummy feel perfect. The sweets aren't overly chewy, but at the same time, you can suck them for as long as you want. So on the taste front, I can't fault this product at all, everything is perfect.

Appearance and Price
------------------------------

As I am sure you can see from the picture, inside the Happy Cola bag is lots of mini coke bottles. Even though they are small, there are lots of them in a bag. Probably around 30 in a medium bag I would guess. As ever with Haribo, the packaging is kept relatively simple, so nothing special there. Although I suppose you are really paying for the product not a piece of plastic. At the moment, Happy Cola bags only come in the one size; about medium. This bag prices in and around £1 which is quite good in my opinion. In supermarkets you could probably pick them up in special offers too. The only downside to Happy Cola is that they tend to be quite rare. You may have trouble finding them near you. Although as you may see next to this review, you can buy 300 Cola Bottles for £3.83 on amazon.co.uk .

So overall, a very good tasting product that has a decent price tag too. The only downside is that they are quite rare and only one bag size is available. Unless of course you buy big quantities of them.
