There was a big controversy about these candies a few years back, when someone complained to a newspaper about the fact that the personified fruits on the wrapper appear to be locked in a carnal embrace, which, by the way, they are, but let me get back to what I was going to say.

Maoam are a delicious soft fruit candy that have an incredible citrus taste. They are fun to eat and aesthetically pleasing, without being sticky or easy to drop. Produced in Germany, they are an efficient, straightforward, functional sweet that are, put quite simply, a white block of fruit flavoured rubbery nougat. They are wonderfully chewy and come in a variety of flavours. One of the best things about Maoam is that that although they're incredibly moreish, they aren't actually that bad for you in the least. They taste lovely and can be kept easily in pockets or handbags without the risk of them being squashed or melting. They also last a long time before they go hard and start to go off, so It can always pay to have some of these lying around your house, in case you have a visit from some relatives with children. Maoam are very popular among children, and because they're so chewy they're likely to keep their mouths shut for a bit.

I recommend Maoam. Everything about Maoam is fun, from the unintentionally hilarious wrapper, to chewing the actual sweets, to just saying the word itself. "Maoam... Maoam....Maaoooam."
