“ Brand: Marks & Spencer / Type: Jelly „
After developing a real penchant for not only chocolate but also jelly sweets, my son has been lucky enough to have a nannan that likes to spoil him and buys him the product I will now review once weekly!
The product I will now review is - "Marks and Spencer's phizzy pig tails".
The sweets themselves come housed within a plastic pouched bag, with all the relevant information being present. Brand name, product name, description, nutritional information and a lovely picture of a little pink pig, but hopefully not one of the pigs who has their tail stolen for this bag of treats!
These jelly sweets are described as containing fruit juice with a hint of fizz, so upon opening the bag I was not surprised to smell a fruity scent emanating from the bag.
Within the bag there were around 15-20 "tails", which were spirals of thick jelly with a soft powdery sugar coating, which before eating one I assumed was the fizz part.
When biting into one I realised that these are on the large side, especially considering I would think these are marketed at children, so with my big mouth these must be too large!
The jelly is reasonably soft, with a little chew to it and the taste is nice and fruity, with the fizz being just on the right side of mouth puckering!
The nutritional information is as follows -
5.4g of which sugars,
Trace of fat.
Allergy advice states that this contains cows milk, but doesn't contain artificial flavourings or colours.
