Advantages: Taste nice and there cheap!

Disadvantages: Some are not as sweet as others

When taking a trip to the supermarket to do my weekly shop sometimes I can't resist to take a little look down the sweet aisle. Recently while looking I came across rainbow drops! I recognised them immediately from when I use to buy them from the corner shop after school. I couldn't resist, they went straight in to my trolley.

The packaging was just as I remembered, in blue with a massive rainbow on the front with red bubble writing. Some of the packet is see through so you can see the actual product inside. I think it helps make the packaging look more colourful as the rainbow drops come in all kinds of colours.

The rainbow drops are puffs of rice and maize, that are sugar coated. They come in all different colours though pretty much they all taste the same. If anything some may be sweeter than others as they have more sugar on. You know which ones these will be as they are darker in colour and have the colour all over, where as others you can see the actual puff. But they still do taste yummy and can get quite morish if you ask me. Though make sure you or your children are ok with E numbers as they do contain it.

These rainbow drops can be a very cheap little treat if you want to treat yourself. They do come in different sized bags but you can pick up a medium size bag for around 30p. Rainbow drops are worth a try if you have not tried them before.

4 stars from me!

Summary: A great cheap treat
