Well I have a sweet tooth and I live opposite a shop so the temptation to nip in for some sweets while I do my pen-palling is always there. And sometimes I just have to give in Well last month was one of these times when I gave in, and as the wine guns were on offer at 65p for a bag of them, they were ideal for me. I sat munching on them as I did my letters, luckily I have an odd compulsion to eat the sweets in a certain order, light colours to dark, so starting with yellow, then going orange, green, red and black. Lovely tasty sweets. Taste the same as original ones but with half the sugar.Smart choice!

These are now referred to as the Sports Mixture and I became a convert over 18 months ago. I had recalled reading ages ago that someone famous snacked on wine gums as they had virtually no fat. On deciding to change my life to a virtuous eating experience where my body was a temple (or at least the size of a small church) I thought i would explore these mysterious coloured gems. What can i say - delicious - this is a placebo that works. These wine gums are 5 calories each with virtually no fat, in comparison to Maynards other wine gums (in the red packet) that are about 20 calories each.
