These Sainsburys Jelly Babies came in a green & yellow bag with the Sainsburys logo, a picture of lots of different coloured jelly babies, nutritional information, ingredients and details on the Sainsburys company itself.

Inside the plastic bag are lots of different coloured fruit flavoured jelly sweets. The sweets are shaped like little men and they are around 1-1.5cm in size. There are lots of sweets within the bag and they have a slight powdery cover on them meaning when you bite in to the sweet you have two different colours as the middle has a deeper colour to it.

These are quite sweet and have a nice fruit flavouring too them without being too overpowering. These is a lovely chewy texture

I can tell that there is lots of sugar within these as it's actually the main ingredient of the sweet when I check the ingredients. These are a great treat though and at just 63p for a 280g bag it's hard to resist buying a bag every now and again! Also, these are the same price as the Tesco ones but with an extra 30g in the bag, result!

Each 100g of jelly babies has 332 calories and 48.4g of sugars so these should be enjoyed in small quantities to ensure you keep all of your teeth! I do find that a small handful of these sweets is enough to take the edge of my sweet tooth cravings.

I would personally prefer my jelly babies to have slightly more powder on the outside and it's a little disappointing that these are not suitable for vegetarians (beef gelatine). They are very pleasant sweets though and I would recommend these if you fancy some sweets but want to reduce your shopping budget a little.

I am rating these 5/5 as they are lovely and sweet & delicious and you can mix and match this bag with lots of other ones in the Sainsburys range and get 2 lovely bags for just £1! Bargain.
