Advantages: VERY sour and sharp
Disadvantages: Err none they are delish!
Skittles are nice occassionaly but when I saw these Sour flavoured Skittles I was practically hopping on the spot with excitement.
The packaging is exactly the same as standard skittles except the colour is green instead of red. There is also a little picture of the tasty treats in the right hand corner.
First the nutritional bit. These values are per pack which is 1.8oz.

As I ripped open the packet I was eagerly anticipating my first chew into the newbie Sour Skittles. The new flavours are all sour versions of Apple, cherry, mandarin, Pineapple and rasberry. Now what I should have done is try one at a time, however, being an exciteable child at heart I decided to stuff a big handful in my mouth in one go. Probably not the best thing to do with sour sweets. One thing I must clarify though is that I have always been a little on the crazy side when it comes to sour and sharp sweets. The worse they are the better. The Sour Skittles did NOT dissapoint. My usual reaction to very sour or shapr sweets is nothing more than a cursurory glance at whoever is watching me but I will hold my hands up and say the eyes did water for a few seconds.
The taste is hard to describe, espcecially as I was so greedy in my tasting. Each individual Skittle didn't taste quite as good as when they are all put together. That way your brain is telling you "ooohhh her comes Apple" and then before you know it it's saying "oh no, it's actually rasberry". These are pretty much like normal Skittles but with a serious kick. They still have the crispy shell (which is where the sourness is) and the inside is the same as a normal Skittle with it being a chewy type sweet.
These were a lovely treat and made a change from the bog-standard (now in my opinion very dull) Skittles. I paid 40 pemce from them but no doubt price varies accross the board.
Summary: If you don't do sour, then don't do Sour Skittles
