Skittles gone sour.

I have to admit I have a little bit of a sweet tooth which I like to indulge every now and then. I often like to have a little bag of sweets a treat for my taste buds but not for my teeth! Skittles, made by mars, have been around for years and years, and have been extremely popular. Recently skittles have bought out sour skittles as a variation to their product.
Sour skittles come in similar packaging but with some strong differences, they have the same packaging except the main colour is green rather than red. The packaging is a plastic type bag which seals the sweets in quite air tight so keeps them nice and fresh. The skittles come in a variety of sizes, a large share type bag and a small individual bag.
Inside the bag are lots of really small round sweets. They come in lots of colours which represent the different flavours, and have a white S stamped on the top of each one. The sweets are a sugary outer shell and chewy inner centre. When you first bite in you think it is going to be hard but then the centre is soft. The two textures really complement each other, nicely.
I wouldn't exactly describe the flavours as sour, just like I wouldn't normally describe the normal flavours of skittles as the flavor they are meant to be (fruit wise) but they certainly have a very different twang to them, which I really like, and it makes a really good piece of variety to spice up an old age sweet. I really enjoy these new flavours and think I prefer these to the original skittles, as there are too many similar things to them on the market like star burst etc,
They still have the same downsides to skittles, sugary and high in calories, but what sweets don't! In fact, everything that tastes good has a healthy downside!
Summary: Funky sweets.
