Advantages: Great flavours

Disadvantages: None that I have encountered

Great for car journeys and trips to the cinema, these sweets popular with children and adults have been on the shelves for a long time. I normally select chocolate when I am buying snacks to satisfy my sweet tooth but when I do eat a Starburst soft chew I remember just how fruity and tasty they are. Made with natural colours and ingredients you will find four different flavors which are lemon/lime, orange, blackcurrant and strawberry.

Within the main packaging each chew is individally wrapped and you can identify which flavour is which from the colour of the paper. As they are wrapped in this manner they are very suitable to pour in to bowls at parties or gatherings. When you bite in to each sweet the flavour is very apparent and they are extremely pleasant to eat, it is not just the juicy taste but also the soft texture that makes them brilliant. Something that may worry some when deciding whether to try these or not is as to how chewy they are and will they stick badly or cause trouble for your teeth and in my opinion they do not or definitely not as much as many toffees you can purchase.

These really are a taste sensation and unlike some sweets that are tough to bite and chew these really are pleasant and enjoyable to consume even if your teeth are a bit fragile.

Summary: Great classic fruit soft sweets
