Advantages: very tasty, fruity
Disadvantages: very fattening
Visiting supermarket today I fancied something sweet but not a big chocolate lover so looked for something different. This turquoise coloured bag with a riot of colours and depicting a tropical island jumped out at me. Looked a thought I will give them a try then looked again it was a BOGOF offer so got 2 bags for the price of 1 what a bargain. A 230g bag for 99p but you got 2. The packaging is very bright and eyecatching.
On opening the pack the aroma of all the different flavours was very nice. Just be careful when you open them they are very small balls and you would be find them for days if you dropped the bag.
My next decision was Do I put them in colours, Do I eat them one by one, Do I mix the flavours to make my own fruit cocktail, Do I just grab them and put them in my mouth. No I declined and made them last me.
Grapefruit,lemon,strawberry,apple,blackcurrant and orange.
Grapefruit is tangy and zesty not bitter or sweet. I didn't expect it to taste like this. It was nice. Pink ones.
Orange is just like a satsuma at christmas it was juicy and of course orange in flavour. Orange Ones.
Apple subtle and sweet and very moreish too. This seems to be the most in the bag. Green ones.
Strawberry the best reminded me of the old fashion toffee bon bon flavour absolutely scrummy.
Blackcurrant is like the taste of ribena not keen on this flavour so mixed them with different flavour.
A typical 230g bag
100g of carbohydrate (sugar)
7.1% juice is that all. They taste as though is more than that in them.
Fat 0.1g so thats a good side to them
They are really scrummy and they replace Opal Fruits but I dont remember Opal Fruits tasting this scrummy. Opal Fruit Jelly beans to me.
Hope you enjoy reading this.
