Advantages: Yummy; A dead unusual flavour
Disadvantages: None
I've been eating so many sweets since I won a big box of retro sweets at a Christmas Fayre on Saturday! I think I'm about to turn into an Oompa Lumpa! lol
These Parma Violets are yummy and I can't get enough of them, it's weird because I hated them when I was a kid but now I think I'm becoming addicted.
They are small tablet type sweets that come in a plastic wrapper exactly as you can see in the photo above, the packaging hasn't changed in years and neither have the sweets inside.
They do taste quite flowery, I don't know if that is the taste of violets but they are deffo tasting like flowers and nothing else. The sweets are quite chalky to eat but they don't leave my mouth feeling dry like a lot of these sweets. You can either put 2 in your mouth and suck them until they melt down or stick half a dozen in and crunch them up, I'm greedy and put loads in at once because I think the flowery flavour comes through gorgeous like that.
They're not madly sweet but you can taste the sugar in them, I think the violet flavour has disguised the sweetness a bit and that's good because some of these Swizzels sweets are much too sugary for me to enjoy very often.
I love these and will deffo be looking for them in the shops once my big box has all been eaten. My dad eats them and he reckons the loose packs are about 10p in the shop by us, that's a bit of a rip off because you don't get many sweets in the pack and they're proper small but I reckon I'll still buy them sometimes to munch on.
Summary: These Sweeties Aren't For Kids!
